OK--vacation hilites, in no particular order:

the red heart shaped tub which looked way more like ladyparts; smoking a cuban cigar in said ladyparts tub; the movie stars wax museum where we had lots of photo ops; the arcade where we played lots of games of video police academy and I got to ride on a harley simulator and she got to shoot cans and grannies and lazers and we got unbearably cute photostickers in our matching canada toques; the fantasy fudge factory!!!; breakfast in the hotel restaurant, with international travellers all around us; actually looking at the falls!!! And then shooting film of the falls!!! and then driving to Toronto!

Canada has about seventeen times as many radio stations as America. They are mostly awesome. They still listen to the BeeGees non-ironically up there.

We had an eventless drive, and then we arrived in Toronto and had a delicious lunch at an English Pub. And then we found our way to the Gay Ghetto and we found our way to the gay coffeehouse and we found a nice gay who recommended a nice gay b&b, only the nice gay man who ran it said he was full, so he referred us next door to the b&b run by the 70 year old Japanese lady named Doris, who was very sweet. And we stayed with her for two nights and she had nice sheets and cable TV and great eggs and bacon breakfasts.

And we explored the gay ghetto, and we went to a couple of bars which were not so notable. In Canada, much like in the US, all the gays love Cher. It was like the difference between night and day, when the Cher video came on. Amazing. We had great sushi and we watched some Canadian comedy and we went to bed.

And turns out we missed the Trannypunk show friday night, which really was a shame.

And then Saturday we went to Queens street west and we wanted to leisurely shop but 1)it was snowing and 2)it was late and 3) I twisted my ankle on friday night so I was gimpy. So we rushed the 8 long blocks to Gypsy Co-op from the subway, only to find that they had stopped serving half an hour previous.

So---we went to the IRIE FOOD JOINT and had an amazingly chill time with the great atmosphere and fantastic music and beautiful waitress and delicious food. We did not want to leave, but we ventured out to Miss'Behavin, the second on our tour of sex toy shops in Toronto. There were live lingerie models in the windows and the helpful sales staff offered us hot cider. And told us they would show us anything with batteries we wanted to see. Very sweet. Then we crossed the street to the gay sex toy store, which was really awesome. Lots of people of all sorts of genders and sexualities in there. We dropped some cash on books and a video(sugar pimps and candy hos--hee hee) and chatted with the nice worker-owners. Then it was time for the film show.

TO be continued, again......
