Good heavens! I am currently being treated to an incredibly sexy version of the theme to "Cat People" by David Bowie. I don't believe I have ever heard this version, although I have heard a few others. Ah, David. Today I accomplished not a lot, although I did shop for groceries and send a query for my monster story. And I did a bit of research for Spanish brunch. I am going to make a mess of tapas. Part of the research led me to look up the menu from Dali, my favorite restaurant in the universe. Much salivating and pining ensued. I think a nap is going to be necessary before I go to the quizzle stizzle tonight. All this heat and smoking of Camel Turkish Golds is knocking me out. But first, let me just relate to you how I got a guestbook notification, and when I looked at it, it was from "brian". I don't know who Brian is, so I look at his website. Which turns out to be an ALL INCEST PORN SITE. No kidding. I wrote to Andrew about it right away so he can block it if the person is spamming all over. I was just really bummed that someone would do that. Seems like all incest porn is something you could easily find if you were looking for it, and would NOT want to find if you were not. So why do sneaky spamming? People suck sometimes. Another thing that sucks a whole lot is the fire in Taos---Taos is one of my favorite places in the US and the ancient pueblos are in danger of being destroyed by the wildfires. I don't want to look for news because I think I would have a hard time dealing with it being true. At the risk of getting all apocalyps-y, this fire and flood stuff is starting to frighten me a bit. It's times like these when having a priest for a former roomate really comes in handy. |
